- Heavy jackets and sweaters may become uncomfortable under the TV lights
- Front-button shirts, jackets with lapels, and pants or skirts with belts work best for clip-on wireless microphones
- Microphones can be attached to ties, collars, or lapels
- Power packs can be attached to belts or waistbands
